Symcare PF
Pseudomonas fluorescens for management of fungal and bacterial diseases
Symcare PF is a formulation of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria, Pseudomonas fluorescens. The bacterium produces antibiotics which inhibit the growth of pathogens. Siderophores produced by the bacterium chelates the iron in the soil and make it difficult for the pathogen to proliferate. It interferes with germination of the fungal spores and their growth mechanisms, thus preventing establishment of the pathogen on the crops. It is a broad spectrum fungicide, bactericide and nematicide and also a potential plant growth promoter.
