Symcare PF is a biological fungicide containing the cells of rhizobacteria, Pseudomonas fluorescens. The bacterium produces antibiotics which inhibit the growth of pathogens. Siderophores chelate the iron in the soil and make it difficult for the pathogen to proliferate. It interferes with germination of the fungal spores and their growth mechanisms, thus preventing establishment of the pathogen on the crops. It is a broad spectrum fungicide, bactericide and nematicide and also a plant growth promoter.
DISEASE CONTROL – Suppresses plant diseases by production of number of secondary metabolites including antibiotics, siderophores and hydrogen cyanide. This microbe has the unique ability to enter the plant vascular system, reach the various parts of the plant system and act as a systemic bio-control agent against various fungal and bacterial diseases.
PLANT GROWTH PROMOTION – Possesses plant growth-promoting traits such as nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilization, iron chelation, and phytohormone production.
